COMPETITION RULES

1. THE PROMOTERS OF THIS COMPETITION

1.1 The promoter of this competition is Split Second Research Limited (referred to in these terms as “SSR”), working on behalf of Currency Holding Limited (referred to in these terms as “CHL”).  SSR is a private limited company in England and Wales (company number: 09455069), whose registered address is 1 Aston Court, Bromsgrove Technology Park, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 3AL. CHL is a public limited company in England and Wales (company number: 11110482) with its head office and registered address at Building 1, Chalfont Park, Gerrard’s Cross, Buckinghamshire, SL9 0BG. CHL is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (register reference 902022) for the issuing of electronic money.

2. THE COMPETITION

2.1 The title of the competition is “Win a £200 Amazon Voucher from Split Second Research.”
2.2 You can win a £200 Amazon Voucher from SSR by:
(a) completing the online SSR survey; and
(b) being the person whose survey is drawn at random.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The competition will run from 8:00 a.m. GMT on 7 January 2020 to 23:59 GMT on 31 January 2020 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 All survey entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 Enter the prize draw by completing the survey, the link of which can be found in this email;
3.4 No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
3.5 SSR will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are incomplete, and regardless of any cause.
3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.7 For all enquiries please contact Split Second Research Ltd via survey.feedback@splitsecondresearch.co.uk.
3.8 The email addresses of the completed surveys will be put into a computer program that will select at random, and supervised by a member of SSR staff (the judge), the person’s email address which will be the winner. The decision of the judge (acting reasonably) will be final.

4. ELIGIBILITY

4.1 The competition is only open to all persons aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of SSR or CHL or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) members of the immediate families or households of (a) above.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. SSR may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 SSR will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) completed more than once; or
(b) incomplete.
4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person.

4.5 SSR reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
4.6 Competition entries cannot be returned.

5. THE PRIZE

5.1 The prize is a £200 Amazon Voucher and only one prize is available to be won.
5.2 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5.3 You do not have to claim the prize. You will supply your email address as part of the competition entry form and SSR shall contact you if you have won the prize.

6. WINNERS

6.1 The decision of the judge nominated by SSR is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 SSR will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable on or after 1st March 2020 (the “Announcement Date”), using the email address provided with the survey entry. SSR will not amend any contact information once the survey has been submitted.
6.3 SSR must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation SSR will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails survey.feedback@splitsecondresearch.co.uk or writes to the address set out in clause 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Announcement Date.
6.4 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact SSR via survey.feedback@splitsecondresearch.co.uk. In such circumstances, SSR must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

7.1 Please allow 30 days from the Announcement Date for delivery of the prize.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 SSR will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available within 14 days of the Announcement Date, SSR reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.4 SSR does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Insofar as is permitted by law, SSR, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of SSR, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

9.1 SSR will only process your personal information as set out in condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.

10. GENERAL

10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, SSR may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
10.2 SSR reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
